Dennis Devlin is a former CISO with five decades of demonstrated accomplishment leading enterprise IT and information risk management in private industry and higher education. He is currently a member of the IANS Research faculty and a Ponemon Institute Fellow. During his career Dennis built and led teams that delivered highly effective enterprise-class programs in information security, digital privacy, identity management, unified messaging, business continuity and emergency notification. He has served as Assistant Vice President for Information Security and Compliance Services at George Washington University, CISO for Brandeis University, Vice President and CSO for The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters) and as a member of the executive IT leadership team at Harvard University. Dennis is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and a proud grandfather, and his current interests include photography and world travel.
